Kiwi Art Trail comes to Central Otago

For its first time in the South Island the Kiwi Art Trail was hosted in Central Otago NZ. The kiwi sculptures were installed at venues along the regions trails in Bannockburn during March 2026 and Alexandra / Clyde in April 2026.

There were 15 kiwi sculptures designed by New Zealand artists with each piece reflecting their own interpretation of our iconic national bird. These beautiful pieces are auctioned to raise funds for Save the Kiwi, reminding us of the importance of protecting kiwi for future generations.

It was a prvilege to host these beautiful pieces in the region and we look forward to seeing where they pop up in 2027. Thanks to Kiwi Art Trail for letting us enjoy the stunning creativity of some of New Zealand's best artists.
